Introduction
Airbnb is partnering with selected apartment buildings in different cities across the United States to make it easier for renters to find apartments that allow hosting on Airbnb part-time. Renters can explore buildings that are Airbnb-friendly, learn more about the potential earnings they could receive from hosting their home on Airbnb, and contact the building to learn more.
Prospective Host
A Prospective Host in this context is a prospective renter who is interested in finding an apartment to live in that will allow them to host on Airbnb part-time.
Properties are only available in the United States on web and mobile web at launch.
Interested in hosting in an Airbnb-friendly apartment or have general questions?
Prospective hosts can find a participating building in their city and connect with the building manager by selecting Contact Building on the building details page.
Don's see your location listed, but would like to find an Airbnb-friendly apartment to host?
The program is expected to expand to more cities over time, check again for future updates.
You can select Join the waitlist to receive emails about partner buildings becoming available in a specific city.
If you are already a renter, you can educate your building manager about partnering with Airbnb to support hosting by visiting airbnb.com/realestate.

Prospective Building Manager
A prospective building manager in terms of this program is a landlord or member of a building management team whose building is not part of the Airbnb-friendly apartments marketplace, but is interested in having their building become part of the program.
Want to make your building Airbnb-friendly?
- Go to airbnb.com/realestate
- Once the building is confirmed to be in a target geo and management has worked with Airbnb to enter into appropriate agreements, the building will appear on the Airbnb-friendly apartments marketplace page.

The rents included for prospective tenants are the base monthly rent that the property is charging for a twelve month lease. These rates may change over time and additional fees may apply. Only market-rate apartments can join the Resident Hosting program or the Airbnb-friendly Marketplace. Ownership decides if and what revenue share to collect, which may change over time.
