Hosts complain they are not able to deactivate Instant book option, when they go through the process the changes don't save. We managed to find out that all these hosts have API connected listings, they use a channel manager. This means they delegated access to some (or all) settings to the software provider and they need to make changes directly in the channel manager.
Alternately, if they want to change settings on Airbnb they need to deactivate their channel manager > make changes (deactivate Instant book) > connect the channel manager again.
Note, Airbnb introduces a new feature for API connected hosts. If you prefer to manage listing details directly on Airbnb, you can change your sync settings to Pricing and Availability Sync. If you want to manage all of your listing details in your software, you can change your sync settings to Everything Sync.
